April 9: There is so much to see as the drywall really changes the image of the house. The boards have been installed, and the team is now 'mudding', taping and sanding the surfaces for a smooth finish. As noted in the last blog, this has proven to be a challenge, as the mud is slow to dry. The drywall team has built scaffolding to reach the upper walls in the great room, den and front entrance way, creating temporary floors upstairs... I am too nervous to tread on them.
