Feb. 13: Don continues to work on the amazing columns of fir, crafting them into the struts or knee braces that are placed on the front of the garage, beside the front door and the West side of the patio. I love the all wood, hand construction of this detail.

All four "knee-braces" on the front of the garage. They will be stained a similar colour to the siding.
Current street view..... the siding in covered in tarp - there are 4 pre-stained bundles of cedar 4" panels ready to apply to the outside of the house.
