May 25: it has been a short week, but there is progress in several areas. CJ has clad the pillar in the great room and completed a number of details in several areas of the house. Pete has installed many of the recessed lights throughout the house. Paul has trimed several windows on the lower level. And the siding continues to crawl up the East wall.....

This piece of wall board is concealing a fan hose in the kitchenette. Once the glue dries, it will be painted off-white like the surrounding walls.
"Kick" molding on the kitchenette cabinets.... nice finishing.
The lighting trim and bulbs are inserted in much of the recessed lighting..... These are in the mudroom.
Recessed lighting above the stairs. The trim is essential white, similar to the ceiling colour, with a chrome interior for better reflection. There are 118 recessed lights inside and out...
Trim applied to the window next to the pantry.
Trim applied to the kitchen windows. The electrical receptacle has been placed in gable beside the refrigerator.
Trim on the kitchen windows. Once the countertop is applied along with the trim, there will be very little space for a tile backsplash.....
The siding has wrapped around the North wall from the East side....
Siding on the East side has reached one roof line with another roof line close.... The window is in the laundry room.....
By the end of Wednesday, the siding has moved up the North facing bedroom windows a bit more.
